The purpose of our Book Club is to promote literacy and a sense of belonging amongst our students.  It also provides an opportunity for students to engage in meaningful dialogue with their peers, express their opinions, and learn to respond to differing opinions with respect.

The SSMS Chess Club aims to offer a safe and fun environment for all students to play chess. Students will enhance their cognitive thinking and strategic skills while playing chess in an interactive and competitive atmosphere.

The Color Guard Club is a vibrant and dynamic ensemble that combines elements of dance, choreography, and the mesmerizing use of flags and props. Led by enthusiastic instructors, this club offers students a unique opportunity to develop their teamwork, coordination, and performance skills while fostering a strong sense of school spirit.

Weave some creativity into your day with the crochet club! Students can learn the art of crocheting, share their handmade creations, and build friendships in a cozy and supportive environment.

Crochet Club meets on the 1^st and 3^rd Wednesday of the month in the media center after school from 4-5PM

Esports (also known as electronic sports, e-sports, or eSports) is a form of competition using video games. Through our E-Sports program, student teams will participate in various video game competitions with students from other schools.

First Priority of South Florida club is a resource to help students develop their lives spiritually and socially. Our goal is to encourage our peers to understand the importance of living in relationship with God and find out how God relates to everyday life. First Priority operates over 339 clubs across schools in Broward, Dade, Palm Beach, Treasure Coast, Indian River/Space coast and Orlando.

Meeting Time: Every other Tuesday 3:45 PM - 4:30 PM

The National Junior Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding middle-level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.

If chosen as a member of the NJHS, students must possess a 3.5 GPA and come together to perform community service. This is the pinnacle organization on campus.

The Robotics Club provides our students the hands-on experience of learning to design, build, and code/program VEX Robots, boosting teamwork and problem-solving abilities while helping kids learn how abstract concepts, like mathematics, engineering, and computing actually work in practice.

The SAVE Promise Clubs is an organization that encourages students to take charge and work together to keep their friends, schools, and communities safe.

S.G.A. is a student-run organization that dedicates itself to creating memorable experiences for every student at SSMS. By encouraging involvement, we provide a medium for all students to become active in the workings of our community. This includes hosting a number of inclusive activities such as Spirit Week, pep rallies, and much much more. Not only do we bridge the gap between students and administration, but we are also involved members of the community. On an annual basis, SGA participates in Harvest Drive and other service-based projects that are aimed at exposing our participants to service and learning. Every year our goal is to improve the lives of our student and faculty population by implementing creative and fun ideas to make each year unforgettable!
